Mostex import-export was established by Dr. Josef Stanislav in 1992. From the start the company has been importing and distributing pipe tobacco, pipes, pipe and cigar accessories in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Dr. Stanislav is a keen pipe smoker and he understands perfectly what a pipe and cigar smoker needs. The company´s motto is to enlarge the higher culture of smoking.
Mostex import-export builds very good distribution network not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia but also in Poland, Russia and Hungary.
Mostex occupy the leasing position in the pipe market in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company represents there these following brands: Peterson, Dunhill, Stanwell, Savinelli, Ser Jacopo, Cavicci, Brebbia, Butz-Choquin, Chacom, Viprati, Armellini, Vauen, Design Berlin, Winslow, Big Ben, Bjarne, Larsen. From the Czech pipe producers there are Stanislav pipes, Jan Pipes, Celtic Tobacco etc.
From the pipe tobacco brands there are Planta Tabak, Mac Baren, Orlik, Samuel Gawith, Peterson, Dan Pipe, Von Eicken.
Regarding short filler cigars the company represents Villiger, El Guajiro and own brands Stanislaw cigars.
In the section of the long filler cigars the company represents mainly cigars made in the Dominican Republic and the brands Don Diego, Santa Damiana, Peterson, Orient expres and own brands named Stanislaw cigars. In the year 2003 the company launched own brand – Stanislaw Cigars - on the Czech and the Slovak markets. Nowdays this brand can be seen in other European markets. In the year 2004 the company launched new collection of pipe tobacco under the name Stanislaw pipe tobacco. Some brands of this collection has been exporting to other European markets such as Russia, Poland, Hungary, Austria or Spain.
From the year 2004 the company has been building the network of the special tobacco shops under the name Stanislaw Cigar and Pipe shop in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
